Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern use of the MangoTyping website at mangotyping.fun. MangoTyping is an independent typing-practice project. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please read the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy as well. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

MangoTyping offers typing tests, printable practice sheets, typing games, guided lessons, accounts, progress history, and related features. Some features may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued as the project develops. Scores, speed and accuracy measurements, statistics, and outputs are estimates based on the activity recorded by the application and are not guaranteed to be perfect or suitable for a particular purpose.

2. Accounts and security

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, safeguarding your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Do not share passwords or verification codes. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised use. We may require email verification or additional verification for sensitive account changes. Password-based accounts can request deletion in Settings by confirming the password and an emailed verification code. Google-only accounts without a password must contact support for assistance because the current self-service deletion flow requires a password. Account deletion removes account-linked typing history and donation records from the application; independent payment providers may retain their own records under their policies or legal obligations.

3. Age and authorisation

You may use the service only with any parental, guardian, or other authorisation required by applicable law. Where applicable law requires verifiable parental or lawful-guardian consent before a child's personal data is processed, that requirement is not replaced by these Terms. The website does not currently provide an automated, verified in-app parental-consent flow. A parent or lawful guardian should contact support@mangotyping.fun before a child creates an account where such consent is required; the account must not be created until the required consent has been arranged. If we learn that an account is processing personal data without consent required by law, we may restrict access and review appropriate deletion or other remedial action.

4. Acceptable use

You must not attack, probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure; bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits or security measures; attempt unauthorised access to another account or data; submit malware or malicious files; perform abusive automated scraping; manipulate payment flows; impersonate a person or organisation; violate third-party rights; or use the service unlawfully. Do not use the site to submit information you do not have the right to share.

5. Content you submit

You remain responsible for text, screenshots, attachments, support messages, or other content you choose to submit. Do not send passwords, full payment credentials, private data belonging to another person, or confidential information you are not authorised to disclose. You grant MangoTyping only the permission reasonably needed to receive, store, review, transmit, and use that content for the purpose you provided it for (such as support or investigating a bug).

6. Intellectual property

MangoTyping's project-created software, branding, interface, lessons, and original materials belong to their respective rights holders unless stated otherwise. Other content and technologies may belong to third parties and remain subject to their own licenses, terms, and intellectual-property rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership of user content or third-party materials to MangoTyping.

7. Voluntary donations and payments

Donations are voluntary contributions intended to help with hosting, domains, infrastructure, and development. They do not buy a typing score, guaranteed ranking, subscription, or guaranteed competitive advantage. Payments may be processed by Razorpay or another provider configured for the service. Payment credentials are handled by the provider; MangoTyping may keep transaction identifiers, amounts, statuses, timestamps, and records required for reconciliation. The Refund Policy applies, subject to refund or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Third-party services

The website may depend on external providers for sign-in, hosting, database infrastructure, email, payments, or support. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. MangoTyping is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed, or officially affiliated with Google, Razorpay, Neon, or Vercel merely because their services are used. 9. Availability, updates and suspension

We work to operate the service reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, error-free results, or that every feature will remain available. We may update, restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, service maintenance, legal compliance, or violations of these Terms. We will not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that every feature or result will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free. To the extent legally permitted, MangoTyping will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims or losses caused by your unlawful use of the service, your material violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This clause does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be assigned to you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when the service or law changes. The updated version and date will be published here. Where applicable law requires notice or renewed acceptance of a material change, we will take the required steps. Continued use after updated terms take effect means acceptance only to the extent that is legally valid.

13. Applicable law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protection and other rights that apply to you and any rules on jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded.
